The Tuesday Trust: Promoting Community, Dignity, Security & Solidarity

The Tuesday Trust promotes and supports projects which address gender inequalities and the right to education, and which assist people who are infected or affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa & Ireland.

In this, we are committed to promoting a positive image of Africa here in Ireland and have begun to work with NGO’s and community groups in Malawi.

The Tuesday Trust was established in 2008 by a group of Irish individuals who had worked together previously on a range of activities with local and international humanitarian agencies. More recently, several of us took a key role in organising Ireland’s World Aids Day events.

It's called The Tuesday Trust because during its set up, time and time again, meetings happened to be on a Tuesday. Simple as that.

The Trust is co-ordinated and run by volunteers drawn from various fields including development aid specialists, event management, fund-raising, marketing & communications.
